Kerah is an 23-year-old Connemara Quarter horse cross and is 14.3 hand gray mare. She was born on a ranch in Montana. Mintzie is an 17-year-old Haflinger pony and is a 13.2 hand Chestnut mare. She is a friendly, sweet, and affectionate little pony. She has been helping kids with occupational therapy treatment sessions for 8 years. Because she is short, her fast foot falls provide quick and intense proprioception which help clients improve their attention and focus. When kids sit on her side ways it gives them a lower abdominal workout. This exercise helps set them up for learning how to ride a bike or pump a swing. She helps kids with high level strengthening and coordination through vaulting. For fun she loves trail rides and playing with water. |
Blue is a 15.2 hand Quarter horse, he is a gray gelding. He was born on a cattle ranch in Oklahoma. He is 20 but still looks amazing. He has been here for 10 years. He is used in therapy sessions to help kids improve their attention and focus by getting them up high off the ground. He also provides clients with a lot of anterior and posterior hip movement which strengthens their core muscles. For fun he loves to gallop, jump, and fox hunt and eat cookies. |
